This session takes a look at the first two tools of Biblical Exegesis... namely that of Context and Melodic Line. In the section on Context, various popular scripture verses are considered in the light of their Historical, Literary and Biblical Context in order to seek out the original meaning and contemporary application. In the section on Melodic Line, we consider carious strategies to apply to each book of the Bible in order to find its overall theme and purpose.
