Song of Songs is one of the most avoided books of the Bible and yet God, in His sovereignty, brings it to the church for edification, that we will “be complete, equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:17. The Song of Songs portrays the pure, self-sacrificing, other satisfying heavenly love of Jesus for the church… expressed in the context of earthly marriage.
