The Promise of the Ascension

The ascension of Jesus is directly tied to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. In His ascension, Jesus did not leave His followers alone; He left them with a promise fulfilled at Pentecost. Through this, God’s presence remains continually with His people.
