Hello Honeyridge Family!

At the moment, we as Honeyridgers are not able to meet together as before and our community feels scattered. We miss the shared hugs, warm handshakes and friendly chats over a cup of tea on Sunday. Our children miss playing with their friends at Sunday School and the Youth Groups cannot hang together on Friday evenings.

All in all, some of us might feel like we are going mental!

However, technology enables us to continue to connect as we are encouraged to do in Hebrews 10:24-25. The fundamentals of church life are covered as we listen to Clinton’s teaching online each Sunday and Bible Studies continue to meet on Zoom during the week. We are able to phone, WhatsApp, Facetime or e-mail friends and family and especially those who are alone at this time.

We are now very excited to be able to add another dimension to our connection via technology and we need YOU to get involved!

Having fun together is very much part of our Honeyridge community. We know that you as families are doing interesting, fun, crazy things out there to keep busy and sane and we want you to share those moments with us.

We will be adding a new section to our online platforms where you can share videos of you or your family singing together, performing a skit, reciting a poem, playing a music instrument, playing a prank, painting a picture, doing a dance etc. We only ask that the material be good clean fun, appropriate and in keeping with the HBC ethos.

Here are a few guidelines:

1.       If you are using your cell phone please record in 16x9 format (Landscape)
2.       Time it under 5min
3.       Good video quality
4.       Close up shots
5.       Good lighting

Depending on the size of your video, you can let me have your contributions in one of the following ways:

  • Email me!
  • Whatsapp me!
  • Send me the link to a file-sharing site e.g. DropBox, WeTransfer, etc.

Note: all videos will be moderated before being made available on the App.
